**By Purchasing an Antique or Artifact from Relic and Rarity you Agree to the Following Terms and Conditions**

1. **Purchase As Is**: All items sold by Relic and Rarity are purchased on an "as is, where is" basis. Relic and Rarity makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, or suitability of any item for any particular purpose.

2.  **Authenticity Guaranteed**: The authenticity of the objects listed in our online gallery is guaranteed and each object is described to the best of our knowledge at the time.  

3. **Expert/Specialist Opinions**: Any information or descriptions provided regarding relics and items are based on the opinions of our experts/specialists. Such information is not guaranteed and does not constitute a warranty of any kind.

4. **Buyer’s Responsibility**: It is the buyer's sole responsibility to satisfy themselves with the accuracy and completeness of the item's description before making a purchase. Relic and Rarity shall not be held liable for any discrepancies or inaccuracies related to the item’s description.

5. **Dispute of Authenticity**: In case of a dispute regarding the authenticity, Relic and Rarity, is entitled to seek for additional, contra expertise. In that case, the object needs to be returned at the cost and responsibility of the buyer.  The item must be accompanied by a written letter from a recognized expert in the field, indicating any findings.  When there is conclusive evidence against the object’s authenticity, and the claim is successfully made in the 28 days from the shipment leaving our premises you are entitled to a full refund. Buyer pays any return postage.

6. **Shipping**: Relic and Rarity is not responsible for any damages or issues that arise during shipping. The risk of loss or damage during transit passes to the buyer upon dispatch of the item. Buyers are advised to ensure proper insurance and handling arrangements for their items during shipping.

7. **Limitation of Liability**: Relic and Rarity shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the purchase of any item. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss resulting from inaccuracies in item descriptions, defects, shipping damages, or any other issues related to the item.

8. **Governing Law**: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Relic and Rarity operates.

 9. ** Additional Shipping Specific Terms**:  Relic and Rarity hold no responsibility in the event of parcels being lost or damaged at the hands of shipping agents. That being said, we will happily provide any information required to claim whatever shipping insurance was requested and offer advice for repairs. If you would like to insure your shipment for more, additional charges will apply. Please add your request in the order notes during checkout. We want nothing more than for you to safely receive your order.

If the package is delivered to the wrong address or gets lost by the postal service - Relic and Rarity cannot be held responsible for persons employed by postal or shipping companies. While we deeply empathize with the frustration that these situations can cause, we cannot be held responsible for customer errors or the actions of companies we do not own or operate. 

10. **Exporting Artifacts and Antiquities** it is the buyers responsibility to ensure that your purchases do not violate any local laws or restrictions. The sales we make are compliant with our local laws and with full intent of legality upon shipping.

For international customs purposes, all of our items are openly declared to avoid any issues. We do everything in our power to ensure a speedy and safe arrival of your orders, but the actions of Customs are beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible for any additional fees or complications, including seizure. 

 It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure legality in their own country. We guarantee a legal export from Canada but we are not responsible for items detained by foreign customs or any additional fees that may apply outside of Canada. We suggest contacting your government enforcement agency for your local regulations.
