L'expression sereine de son visage, avec ses lèvres délicatement courbées, ses yeux baissés et ses proportions harmonieuses, reflète le raffinement artistique et la profondeur spirituelle de la sculpture angkorienne. Faisant à l'origine partie d'une statue plus grande conservée dans un temple, cette tête aurait rempli des fonctions à la fois dévotionnelles et architecturales au sein des complexes sacrés d'Angkor.
