Description

Une tête en grès finement sculptée, représentant probablement une divinité ou un Bouddha de l'Empire khmer pendant la période angkorienne. L'expression faciale sereine, avec des lèvres doucement courbées, des yeux baissés et des proportions harmonieuses, reflète le raffinement artistique et la profondeur spirituelle de la sculpture angkorienne. Faisant à l'origine partie d'une statue plus grande enchâssée dans un temple, la tête aurait eu des fonctions à la fois dévotionnelles et architecturales au sein des complexes sacrés d'Angkor.
