Description

Ce pistolet à percussion de calibre .62 est un bel exemple de l'armurerie anglaise. Il a été fabriqué par FENTON de Londres, un nom respecté dans la fabrication d'armes à feu britanniques. Le pistolet présente une platine, un chien, un pontet et des contre-platines finement gravés, associés à un canon octogonal marqué "LONDON". Sa crosse en noyer, élégamment façonnée et quadrillée pour une meilleure prise en main, démontre à la fois utilité et art. Compacte mais puissante, cette arme de poing reflète le summum de l'artisanat britannique en matière d'armes à feu au XIXe siècle.
