The horn retains its original hand-carved wooden plug secured with an early leather strap, along with an old museum or private collection inventory label still attached.

The tapered horn body displays wonderful age wear, handling marks, and mellow sheen developed over generations of use and storage. The wooden stopper at the spout is intact and fits firmly, showing lovely patination.
