Explore Ancient Artifacts and Antiquities with Confidence

By purchasing an item from Relic & Rarity, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Purchase “As Is”

All items are sold on an “as is, where is” basis. Relic & Rarity makes no
representations or warranties—express or implied—regarding the condition,
quality, or suitability of any item for a particular purpose.

2. Authenticity Guaranteed

We guarantee the authenticity of all items listed in our online gallery. Each object is described to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing.

3. Expert Opinions

Descriptions and information provided are based on the opinions of our in-house experts and specialists. While carefully researched, such information does not constitute a warranty of any kind.

4. Buyer’s Responsibility

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure they are satisfied with the accuracy and completeness of an item’s description prior to purchase. Relic & Rarity shall not be held liable for discrepancies or inaccuracies.

5. Disputes Regarding Authenticity

In the rare event of an authenticity dispute, Relic & Rarity may request additional expert evaluation. The item must be returned at the buyer’s cost, accompanied by a written report from a recognized expert. If conclusive evidence confirms inauthenticity within 28 days of shipment, a full
refund will be issued. Buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs.

6. Shipping

Relic & Rarity is not responsible for damages or loss during transit. Risk passes to the buyer upon dispatch. We recommend proper insurance and handling
arrangements.

7. Limitation of Liability

Relic & Rarity shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the
purchase, including inaccuracies in descriptions, defects, or shipping issues.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Relic & Rarity operates.

9. Additional Shipping Terms

While we take every precaution to ensure safe delivery, Relic & Rarity cannot be held responsible for loss or damage caused by shipping agents or postal services. We are happy to provide documentation for insurance claims or repair advice. Additional insurance can be arranged at checkout for an extra fee.

10. Exporting Artifacts and Antiquities

Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and import regulations. Relic & Rarity guarantees legal export from Canada, but cannot be held responsible for items detained by foreign customs, additional duties, or fees. For international shipments, we declare items openly to minimize delays. Buyers should verify legality in their own country prior to purchase.

11. Returns

If you are not fully satisfied, items may be returned in their original condition within seven days for a full store credit toward any other item in our collection at its listed retail price. Store credits are non-transferable and
non-assignable.
