This authentic Ancient Egyptian scarab is skillfully carved from natural steatite, presenting a classic stylized beetle form with clearly defined wing case lines and body segmentation. The underside displays faint but visible carved decoration consistent with New Kingdom scarab design, likely symbolic in nature and serving ritual, protective, or administrative purposes.

Scarab amulets played an important role in Egyptian daily life and belief. They were worn as jewelry, carried as talismans, used as seals, and placed in tombs as symbols of protection, rebirth, and divine favor.
